We are searching for sponsors for the 2008/2009 racing season and
beyond.  We are in need of many kinds of different sponsors, so,
please, take a look at the sponsorship programs that we offer to

If you are interested in sponsorship of the Kennels, the Race Team or one or more of
the Kids for the 2008/2009 race-season, please, select the Level of Sponsorship or the
Sponsorship Program you wish to participate in and, then, complete our Sponsorship

Levels of Sponsorship
For
Monetary Donations

Nicaya Kennels has created different levels of sponsorship with various monetary
values, as follows:

  • Harness Sponsor       $25           
  • Sled Sponsor                $50           
  • Team Dog Sponsor    $100         
  • Wheel Dog Sponsor   $250        
  • Swing Dog Sponsor    $500       
  • Point Dog Sponsor     $1000     
  • Lead Dog Sponsor       $1500     
  • Race Team Sponsor  $3000    
  • Kennel Sponsor          $5000 +

For each level, equivalent level or sponsorship program, a Certificate of
Sponsorship/Appreciation,  an annual membership to Team Nicaya, a gift of Nicaya
Kennels Memorabilia based of the Sponsorship Level, equivalent level or program
you have chosen, and regular updates on our progress throughout the race season
will be included.

Dog Sponsorship
Sponsor-a-Siberian Program

Become an individual dog sponsor for the 2008/2009 race season of your favorite
Siberian(s) and help us get the KIDS into either the 2009 or 2010 Iditarod and
beyond.  Sponsor any of Nicaya Kennels' Siberians that might strike your fancy for a
minimum sponsorship of $300.00 per dog.  In addition to the Certificate of
Appreciation and other items, you will receive a picture of the team member(s) that
you have chosen to sponsor and a brief photo-biography of the dog(s).  Multiple
sponsors of each dog are welcomed.  Each sponsor will be listed on our Sponsors Page
and on the sponsored kid's biography page of our website.  While we can not
guarantee anyone's sponsored dog will make the final team, each dog is a valued
member of Nicaya Kennels and serves in other capacities.

Bootie Sponsor

One of the most important parts of keeping a dog team happy, healthy and running
good on the trail is caring properly for their feet and ankles!  Although Siberians are
tougher then Alaskan Huskies, they still require booties, ankle raps, liniments and
foot ointments to keep their feet and ankles healthy and them happy!  Siberians,
also, will need jackets to help keep them warm when it gets extremely cold and windy
to prevent them from getting cold and their muscles from stiffing-up.  Of course, all
this costs money,  we have calculated approximately $200.00 per dog for each of the
16 dogs that will make the final 2008/2009 Race Team.  For $200.00, become a
Bootie Sponsor and keep our Race Team happy and healthy on the trail.

Fuel Team Sponsor

Another part of our budget and racing  our team of Siberian Huskies is the cost of
transportation.  With the increase in the cost of fuel over the past few years, the cost
of transporting our team to the races and to training runs has risen significantly.  To
help defray the impact of the price of fuel at the pump, become a Fuel Team Sponsor
for a minimum donation of $150.00 or equivalent in fuel/pre-paid card.  We will be
perpetually grateful for your generosity.  Fuel Team Sponsors receive the same
benefits based on the equivalent monetary level of contribution.

Material Sponsorship

Nicaya Kennels has also created a list of the equipment that we will need for
upcoming race seasons.  If you would rather donate goods, equipment or services and
wish to see a copy of this list, we will be more than happy to supply one.  Material
Sponsors receive the same benefits based on the equivalent monetary level of
contribution.
